I’m a humanist. A humanist is someone who believes in the value and agency of human beings, individually and collectively. Humanism is an ethical and philosophical stance that emphasizes the dignity and worth of all people, and stresses the importance of using reason, critical thinking, and empathy to understand and address social and ethical issues.

Humanists reject supernatural beliefs and superstitions, and instead focus on human experiences, science, and evidence-based reasoning to guide their thinking and actions. They believe in the power of human creativity and innovation, and promote education, democracy, and social justice as means to create a better world.
